We got tired of coats that quit in February
Truestag started the way most small apparel shops do. We were buying jackets and hoodies for ourselves and for the people we work around, and the same thing kept happening. A zip pull would snap. A cuff would stretch out. A hood would sit flat the first time the wind picked up on the Merrimack.
So we narrowed the shop down to pieces we would put on ourselves. Fleece with weight to it. Quilted fill that stays put after a wash. Denim with a straight leg that does not twist at the seam. We keep the range small on purpose, because a short list is a list we can actually check.
Orders are picked and packed at our unit on Superior Ave in Dracut, and every question that lands in the inbox is answered by someone who has handled the garment in question.
If we would not wear it through a New England winter, it does not go on the site.

No slogans we cannot back up at the packing bench. These are the four things every order gets.
12 month guarantee
Seams, zips, snaps and drawcords covered against manufacturing defects for a year from delivery.
45 day returns
Sizing is hard to call online. Send it back unworn with tags on inside 45 days and we refund the card.
Straight answers on stock
If a size is out, the page says so. We do not take orders on pieces we cannot pack this week.
